Fredrick “Pastor G” Gorini October 1947 – May 2025 Frederick Dennis Gorini, of Port Orange, FL, went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2025. He was born on November 22, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY. Fred is survived by his beloved wife, Phyllis; their three children, Christy (James), Kerri, and Robert (Nicole); and four cherished grandchildren, Ben, Ellie, Livia, and Brennan. He is also survived by his brother Joseph (Ronnie) and sister Barbara. Fred was a U.S. Army combat veteran who served his country in Vietnam. He devoted 35 years pastoring alongside Phyllis at a local church in Port Orange, FL, where they impacted countless lives through teaching, grace, and compassion. In addition to serving as a local pastor, he also served as the National Elder of the Bikers For Christ community. Fred had a joyful spirit and a deep love for life. He carried wisdom and warmth, offering steady guidance while always making room for laughter. He was thoughtful and serious when needed, yet never missed a chance to be playful and lighthearted. He loved riding his motorcycle, visiting waterfalls, and being silly with his kids and grandkids. More than anything, Fred lived out love through the way he listened, served, and remained present with the people around him. His laughter, kindness, and quiet strength will be remembered by all who knew him. His Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 7, at 5:00 p.m. at Jesus Church in Port Orange, FL. |
